Ahrefs mapped 14 GEO-focused conferences happening in 2026, operating alongside dozens of established SEO events that have added substantial AI search tracks. The rapid proliferation suggests the industry thinks GEO is here to stay, not just another optimization fad. Worth noting: most are adding "practical workflow" tracks, acknowledging that theory without execution isn't selling tickets.

Why it matters: When conferences emerge specifically for your discipline, the tooling, talent pool, and budget expectations follow. If you haven't allocated for GEO-specific learning, you're probably behind the curve.

OtterlyAI: AI Search Engines Depend 95% on Third-Party Sources
